HI. MY NAME IS LINDA and I am a dog behaviourist living and working near CHIPPENHAM.
My aim is to help you - and your dog - with issues that are causing difficulties in your/your family's lives.
Common issues include: DOG-DOG REACTIVITY, RESOURCE GUARDING, SEPARATION ANXIETY, EXCESSIVE BARKING and RECALL. But this list is not exclusive!

I have a level 4 DIPLOMA in Advanced Canine Behaviour (merit) from the British College of Canine Studies.

I am educated to a level 7 standard and have a Master's degree in Research Methodology (UCC).

I have a Canine First Aid certificate (merit) from the British College of Canine Studies (2021).

I have public liability and care, custody, and control INSURANCE. I also have professional indemnity insurance and business insurance for my car.

My ETHICAL STANCE is one of using the minimum possible physical correction to achieve a positive change in behaviour.
This largely means guidance with my voice and your dog's lead, harness, or head collar.
I reward, and encourage, good behaviour with my voice, affection, and (agreed) treats and would ignore unwanted behaviour, e.g. "jumping up" wherever possible. By "ignore" I mean I would turn side on, not look at (or touch) the dog and utter the single word "off." I am then telling the dog what I would like it to do. Once the dog has all four feet on the ground (the desired behaviour) you can greet it.

HEALTH AND SAFETY is of great importance to me. I carry a
first aid kit in my car and will advise on the use of muzzles
where appropriate. The aim will always be a slow, and gradual, change in behaviour where aggression is an issue.
I will keep our professional discussions PRIVATE AND CONFIDENTIAL and undertake to keep your PERSONAL DATA secure.

I am a KIND, EXPERIENCED, and KNOWLEDGEABLE woman who undertakes to work hard (with you) to improve your life with your dog.
